P_MegaTK_pass crashing Maya when i render

P_MegaTK_pass crashing Maya when i render

Hi Guys

I was foolwing this blog: http://kiryha.blogspot.com/2010/06/...mental-ray.html on how to render fur using the puppet shaders. And everything worked out. My fur was rendered beautifully thanks to the amazing Puppet shaders and the informative blog :-D

But when i comes to the P_MegaTK_pass shader Maya crashes. I plug this on to a dummy shader's transform node on geometry slot. (Am using MAya 2012, with P shaders v3.3.4)

Can anyone please tell me what am doin wrong!? i really would like this P_MeagaTK_pass to work out

Hi Stevovo, did you ever solve this problem? I'm going through the exact same thing and it's not limited to just fur

I know your issue was a while ago now but I can't seem to find a solution anywhere?!
