Question Begginer Builder

Hi guys I'm new here and I was hoping to see if any one could give me some help. I'm studying for 3d and graphic design and I need to build a pc, mind you I really don't know much about building one. I researched some of the parts but to be honest I'm not sure if they are compatible and will do the job I need. I'm going to be running Maya, ZBrush, Mudbox, Photoshop, Illustrator and 3ds Max on this new computer. So I'm assuming that it will be a bit powerful, but like I said I'm not sure if this is good or not, I know very little about building one and want to make sure it's correct, the items I chose, so as not to waste money. Any help you can give me is very much appreciated.
Here's the list:

CPU: Intel Core i5-680 3.6GHz Dual-Core Processor *($316.70 @ NCIX US)
CPU Cooler: Antec KUHLER H2O 920 110.0 CFM *Liquid CPU Cooler *($99.98 @ Outlet PC)
Motherboard: Asus P7P55D ATX *LGA1156 Motherboard *($163.37 @ Mac Connection)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory *($94.65 @ NCIX US)
Storage: Hitachi Deskstar 7K3000 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive *($142.27 @ Newegg)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti 2GB Video Card *($249.99 @ Newegg)
Sound Card: HT Omega Claro Halo 24-bit 192 KHz Sound Card *($199.99 @ Newegg)
Case: Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case *($49.49 @ SuperBiiz)
Power Supply: Corsair 850W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply *($159.99 @ NCIX US)
Optical Drive: Asus BC-12B1ST/BLK/B/AS Blu-Ray Reader, DVD/CD Writer *($54.99 @ Newegg)

Thanks very much.

Get a quad core processor and ditch the water cooling. Also there's a newer generation of processors and motherboards that have come out recently.

Huge waste of money. Audio that comes on motherboards these days is sufficient for all but dedicated audio workstations.

You don't need that many watts, a 600W would be plenty. Though having more than you need won't hurt anything it just needlessly drives up the build cost. Good luck with the new system.

Everything Olson said, spending $200 on a soundcard when youre cheaping out with a dual core cpu is nuts unless youre making a high end audio editing machine, but even then, putting a dual core machine and spending $100 on cooling is silly.

thanks

thanks, very much for the information guys, i really appreciate it, and yeah i agree with you I won't be spending $200 just for sound. I'm assuming that the mother board has a decent setup to listen to music. The cooling system kinda piqued my curiosity to see how it worked but i guess ill have to be very careful with it since i don't really know much about it.
And thanks again guys I appreciate the input.
