Thinking Particles - geom Instance/surface Pos/Timer
Hi, I have a question.
I make some tests and I do something like this.
I have a Sphere as geom instance that appear
at collision point of particle(red) and UDeflector.
I also attached to the vertices of the geom Instance sphere
some particles (blue) with SurfacePos node.
And all this work very good.
But I did some size animation to geom Instance (SphereGroup / particle Age / Timer / animated float/ Size) to have an effect of the growing sphere.
Size animation works very well, but the (blue) particles dont stick to vertices any more.

I'm not sure how you going about attaching the blue particle to the red growing particles, but you need to update the position on the vertexes of the deforming geo per sample. This way the blue particle know where the vertex have moved each sample.
you can use a set reference or memory node(particle) when you birth the blue particles per red ones. So the blue groups know who their parent(red particle) is.
Your now creating a relationship between the two groups.
Then in a new Dynamic set you can use the red group and access the blue (through get reference or memory). Use the the surface node , "particle shape" input (this connects to the red group) "Particle"(connects to the blue group), then use a position node with the position output from the surface node, to the blue group. the blue particle should follow.
