Division/Subtraction in Eyeon Fusion

Hi there,

Just a quick and kinda noobish question:

How do I divide in Fusion?
EDIT: Is the channel boolean with divide mode the way to go?

How do i subtract in Fusion?
EDIT: Difference=Subtract

In Nuke there's a subtract/divide mode in the merger, not so in FUsion, or am I missing something here?

How do I generally do math ops in fusion?

The easiest is to use the ChannelBoolean indeed.
You can also create presets with corresponding names and save them as defaults.
Then those presets can be added as buttons on toolbars, as menu items or to be inserted by Ctrl+Space menu, just like any normal native tools.

Difference in the Merge isn't exactly a subtraction. It's rather absolute difference (always positive values).
In math terms, it performs not A-B, where 0.5 - 0.8 = -0.3,
but [A-B], where [0.5 - 0.8] = 0.3, whilst [0.5 - 0.2] = 0.3 too.

and a favorite tool of mine: the CustomTool, there you can do all the math things you like to do. but maybe a little bit overkill for your simple divide and substract
