Vray skin shader Problem

I'm working on a skin shader but I can't seem to get rid of the edges around the face. I'm using a SSS shader together with a normal vray material to create the specular. I believe it's the specular creating these outlines. Does anyone know what can solve this?

Also some tips or crits on the project are always welcome.

thats because youre using additive mode on the blend shader.

for realistic physically accurate result you need to obey something called 'energy preservation'


set the shaders like this.

and to your project, imho pump up the prepass rate to something like 1.
your shader also looks too difusey. and on the reflection material, change the brdf from blinn to phong, which is much closer to real life skin brdf
