Make the object transparent in view

Hi! How do I make the object transparent in view to modeling?

Shading > X-ray

in the viewport

Or apply a new lambert material and drag down the transparency slider

yes it is because I was using the high quality, and so I think the x-ray is invalid.
but already deactivated the high quality. thanks

thats where the 2nd option comes in,apply mat and turn down the opacity.
