atmospheric perspective in cycles?

Is this possible?
I have made some experiments with environments textures and even sky textures and looked at some tutorials, I can't figure out atmospheric perspective though. Is it perhaps not possible at this time?

Thanks in advance

Shameless bump, if anyone of you know anything on how to achieve atmosphere even a work around I would appreciate a comment. Thanks.

I think this would be best done using the compositor and the z-depth pass. Blender Guru has tutorials on it. I think he touches on it in this video (about 24 minutes in): http://www.blenderguru.com/videos/c...ene-part-2-of-2
