having problems closing edge gaps

im having problems seeming edges togeteher? whenever im extruding edges and then subdivide , it ends up with a bunch of pointy things because i wasnt able to close the gaps between the extruded egdes. so basicly i want to know how you close the seems of closely gaped extruded edges?
pleas please please somebody help me.

It would help to have a screenshot of what you are talking about. But I think I know what your saying. Try using the Surface tool to make a new poly or use merge to seem some points together.

When I started with Silo I found a great tutorial on youtube. It covers your problem aswell.

I just post the title .. go to youtube and search yourself:

Your question is explained at 6:20 around. He shows how to connect edges. Give it a shot.
