MR Arch&Design self illumination + cutout issue

Im having a issue using the A&D Material as a glowing interface panel/ hologram panel.

I have a interface map that I want to put onto a plane with a sleight glow

If i make the material self illuminated and so on, it all works fine. As soon as I add a map to the cutout slot it completely throws out the glow/illumination.

anyone know a workaround or a solution?

i think i figured it out.. turned off backface culling and I think the faces were flipped too.

tried it on new geometry and it all seemed to work fine
