![]() Hello,
I'm new to modeling, and trying to make the Black Pearl which is giving me lots of trouble! ![]() So far I've just got the basic hull shape, which took me forever to do. I used nurbs to start then sculpt geometry. Is there an easier way to get smooth rounded forms? or just keep slowly moving verts ect.? Looking for any tips here on topology or how to do certain parts as I go along and post progress. |

Use poly modeling - you will have more control over your mesh.
First start by blocking. Add edge-loops / details only when necessary. Here's a very good tutorial on modeling techniques. You'll find there most of the stuff you need during modeling: http://vimeo.com/10941211 |
