This is a model of Plaza catalunya, in the center of Barcelona, the first and second planes are models and the back ground are pictures, is a mix of technics. i hope you like it.

Nice.

But I can't tell what is 3d and whats not. :S

The main thing that is out of place is the watery plane thing.

the texture is great too.
but what amused me is-
is that water in the middle pond? ( the inner one )

I think thats the nice thing, all the near things are models and the background is a panoramic picture previus touch by photoshop and mask whith alfa.

hi everybody, thank for your comments, let me explain this scene: the things in the first view, the side walk, the way are all model in 3D, the back groound is a panoramic picture previus touch by photoshop and mask, and the sky is a procedural material in max. the ilumination was made in Vray. what doy you think?
in the side of the picture you can view the wire frame and have an idea about what is a model and whata not.

I really like your piece :) Although the one thing that keeps bothering me is the set of buildings on the right that look like they're falling over.
