Acting/Dialogue Shot

Hi there,
I'm a young (naive) and aspiring animation. This is an dialogue shot I'm working on for the 11 second club comp. If you could give me some crit/advice/tips, even if it is just one, I would be very grateful.

Thank you for your time.

The finger flick the old man does feels unnatural and like a movement filler, if you say the line as you fake holding a cane and perform the motion at the same time it feels strange. He says oooooh I worry about you starting with what sounds like a thought and transition to focus on the 2nd character. His body language has both legs facing opposite which shows a lack of interest and desire to leave the situation. This creates a clash with what the character is saying and doing. To get a more interesting result and progress your blocking, I like using the oooh as a thinking moment so he can face away at the beginning. After that I would have him rotate his body and legs to show genuine interest and sincere communication to the character on the left. All of this is ultimately up to you though, just sharing what I would do with the shot. Keep us updated on your progress, thanks for sharing.
