Shotgun Experiment

This is actually the first experiment I've done, and I feel like I'm worse than DaVinci himself!

All in all, I'm looking for a basic progress report...modelling, mechanical accuracy being the biggest critiques I'm looking for.

I think that blade might be a bigger hazard to the shooter than the target. Making lots of concepts and sketches is cool, but in the future, it might help to post them all in one thread.

As AJ1 eludes to it would be easier to critique if there was a bit more to go on. But I like the concept thought. It will be interesting to see where you take it.

Even if an objct is sci-fi, there must be some form of reason for the design. As menstion, the blade position doesn't make sense at all. Tell me how do you propose it can be used in a meaningful way?

Hold the barrel & use like an axe? You know how hot the barrel is after firing shots.
