mesh invisible in render

Hello,

I have an issue I can't seem to fix.
I have a scene with referenced house. When I go to the house file, all works great. No issues.
When I go to my scene with the referenced house, the door is invisible in render. The only time it shows in render is if i render maya software or hardware otherwise its invisible in MR and V-ray. I have tried to assign different shader or just basic lamber and still not success.

What am I missing? Anyone has any idea? It's driving me crazy

Have you try to remove shading group from object and reaasign it?

yes, I have even tried assigning new shader (like basic lambert) and no success. I optimized the scene also, no success.
I just don't understand what is the issue here ;(

ok, I've found a solution even though I still don't understand the problem.
I have duplicated the mesh and now it works. I haven't changed anything else so it's a true mystery to me.

I would also say check normals, I'm sure you have done that. If duplicating didn't work, there is also exporting mesh as obj and re - importing.

It can also happen with ngons that have more than 5 sides and non manifold geometry.

May be the primary visiblity somehow turned off.

nope, everything was set correctly. Even the normals.
Strange because maya software and hardware rendered it correctly. MR and Vray didn't. I duplicated it and the duplicates rendered fine but the originals didn't.
I still don't get it but it fixed the problem so I don't mind.
It's weird though )

Have you checked for reference edits which may be affecting any shader connections or attributes? Try deleting any suspect edits if there are any.
