I would recommend to add an Interior category. Because some will try to add an interior for the car and we won't necssary all do it. More time to spend on the interior need a category don't you agree?

The final render has to be something that would be seen in Sports Illustrated magazine? Should we add in the words Sports Illustrated and maybe a bit of the story around the image? As if our render is the front page of the magazine?

Ya we just need the render of the car, but if you try a cover magazine that could be nice to see and original

On the first post on the rules of the challenge it states that we also have to provide orthagonal render of bottom view. As this angle of the car won't be visible in any other render I didn't intend to spent much time on it. So my question is: Is geometry on the bottom of the car also important or is this just for silhouette purpouses?

Not typically. If you put a lot of effort into the undercarriage you probably want to show it. If not, I wouldn't worry about a bottom render.

Ah you see, I would expect to see undercarriage on a Hardcore Modeling Challenge.

Of course, There's no really many undercarriage blueprints available.

(Don't take my opinion, I choose a model with no undercarriage .. ahhh Scifi )

It's been a while since I did an HC Challenge... do we put our final entry images at the end of our WIP threads, or will there be a separate thread for final entries?

  01 January 2013
Post your progress on your own thread, but there will be a Final entry thread.
