Interacting particle systems?

Hi there,

Is there a way to make two different particle systems collide with each other?
The only way I managed to do this was to create a Mesher for one of the systems, and convert the results to an editable poly. This works fine, but looses the ability to make changes to the particle system.

So is there any other way?

Same PF Source (assuming your using pflow) and PF Tools Box#2 or 2013+Ext - MassFX operators

TP will do it too.

Hm. I have 2012.
So no other way then to buy 3th party plugins?

You can bake out the particle system with a bake script, such as PFlow Baker then bring the baked geometry into MassFX but that is about it regrettably. Unfortunately, max2012 was the worst version ever for any type of VFX work.

So if you are driving motion with the particle system and trying to avoid interpenetration you are pretty much of luck with vanilla max.

Ok tx guys for the input. I think the baking option or the mesher object option are the two ways to go at the moment.
