Thumbs down Advanced Skeleton Face Rig Problem

Hi all,

I'm working on a project in which I am rigging two characters for my second year film at University. I decided to use the Advanced Skeleton plug-in because I don't really like rigging that much, so thought it might help to streamline the process.

I did one character just fine, face rig, the works. The second character went the same until I came to skin the face, and it just ruins the mesh every time.

I've been struggling with this for a few days now, have re-tried the whole process, etc. I just can't get past it, I've tried everything I can think of, so if anyone here can give me some advice if they have used it before, that would be a huge help!

I've attached some screenshots of what is going wrong

This is the body rig finished and set-up with the face joints etc, as they should be and were for the model that works

Close up (with eyelids that sit nicely around the eye)

This is what happens when I create the skin rig, it deforms the mesh and moving the eyebrow controls for example moves the whole head forwards, through the eyebrows, which isn't ideal

It also messes with the body, which I just can not understand, there is no weighting on there from the face at all.

This is the finished face rig I have for the other character, everything works just how I want it, no unexpected deformation:

Hopefully someone can help, thanks so much
