VFX Production Manager


-Prioritization of production team's tasks and responsibility.

-Organize and maintain an overall production schedule.

-Participate in all production-related communication with the client to ensure client requirements.

-Identify and communicate any changes to the scope of work to the Producer or Head of Production.

-Identify and communicate schedule and resource conflicts to the Producer or Head of Production.

-Notify Supervisor and Producer of any production issues so they can be resolved internally or communicated to the client

-Work with the Project Coordinator and Producer to supervise production requirements to ensure the production is completed on schedule with the resources allocated by the company.

-Ensure the accuracy of internal production tracking system.

-Prepare weekly production reports to the Producer/Head of Production, and for the client when requested.

-General support for bidding processes.


-2+ years experience in VFX/film/television/commercials production management.

-Experience in VFX production including knowledge of post-production techniques and terminology is a plus.

-Must have strong leadership skills and be able to act as a liaison between clients and artists.

-Must be proactive, detail-oriented and highly organized.

-Ability to work well under pressure/deadlines.

-Ability to work independently and take initiative.

-Ability to handle sensitive and confidential material.

-Able to remain calm and productive in a dynamic environment.

-Proficient in Mac, PC, Excel and Word.

-Must be a team player and have a friendly, positive attitude.

-Ability to speak/read/write both English and Chinese fluently is a plus

In 2010, Founder and VFX Supervisor Chris Bremble was awarded an Emmy for Out- standing Special Visual Effects in a Movie or Mini-Series for the company’s work on HBO’s epic war saga “The Pacific.” The company was awarded its second Emmy in 2011 for its work on HBO’s critically acclaimed series “Boardwalk Empire.”
Base specializes in high-end creature and character animation, fluid and dynamic effects, and photo-real 3D matte painting and set extensions.
