Intro to PyMEL Training Video

Hey all,
It's been awhile since I've walked the halls (forums) of cgtalk/cgsociety.
For you python scripters/programmers, I have made an
"Intro to PyMEL" video available on

Object-Oriented scripting in Python in Maya!

here's a quick trailer (60seconds) if you want a quick speed view of what is in this video.

let me know what you think (inviting trolls to dinner is dangerous)!

Are there supposed to be example scene files somewhere? Also, when can we expect part 2?

EDIT* I've finished part 1 and I can say it's an excellent tutorial!

It's direct and to the point, the organization on cgcircuit's website and the outlines in video are very helpful for reference after viewing. You're upbeat, informative, and never boring.

If anything, my only qualm is the speed at which you cover topics. I had to pause and rewind several times.

Overall great job! I can't wait for part 2.

WOw! Thanks for the boost, jgibz

I really tried to keep it clear and concise.

Part 2 is in progress right now! I REALLY want it to get done by Sep 1, but I am about to go into crunch in July -- so it will be a miracle (or of poor quality) if It's any sooner.
