Seemann, Guillaume Bachmann (3D)

Title: Seemann
Name: Guillaume Bachmann
Country: France
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, VRay

Hi everybody !
I'm a french 3D artist (sorry for my poor english)
Here is an illustration of a Messerschmitt fighter over Italy during summer 1944.
Realised with 3ds max 2013 (Vray render) and Photoshop CS6

I hope you'll like it. :)

keep on & good luck

Personally, I would prefer a wider angle for the render, plane is too much blended with the bg.
Nice modelling! Keep up the good work

The model is great but agree with the comments above, distance fog would improve the image a lot

Btw, love the 109, isn´t this the Eric Hartmann plane from JG51?

Regards

Outstanding Modeling

As mentioned by others the modeling is excellent. I would recommend you use more of a motion blur effect either to the background or the plane (combination of both?). The realism is lost due to the stagnant view of the scenery.

Otherwise your work is top shelf!

Quite lovely work but also a bit odd.
Why would the P-51 not engage the BF109?
What is the Sherman tank doing on the sea shore if there is not an invasion going?

Also, the composition makes it feel pretty claustrophobic and static. I'd say the image needs a more dynamic feel, the BF109 looks like he is doing a scenic tour instead of participating in battle.
