VertexColor Problem with MPxDeformerNode (Maya c++)


In maya, i manipulate vertex color inside a MPxDeformerNode.
Actually the code modify the colorVertex and modify the position of the vertex.
But when i play with the parameter of the node the color don't change but for the deformation it's ok.

      MColorArray colours;
      MIntArray vertexInd;
      for ( ; !iter.isDone(); {
      		MPoint point = iter.position();
      		MPoint newPoint = iter.position();
      		//modify the y value of the point
      		newPoint.y +=myParam;
      		//modify the r value of the vertexColor
      		colours.append(myParam, 0, 0, 1); 
      MArrayDataHandle outputArray = block.outputArrayValue(MPxDeformerNode::outputGeom  , &returnStatus );
      MDataHandle outPut = outputArray.inputValue(&returnStatus );
      MFnMesh myMesh ( outPut.asMesh());
      myMesh.setVertexColors(colours, vertexInd); 

For sure, i'am doing something bad or in a wrong way, but i don't know what. Someone have an idea?
