Animation Workshop vs. Animation Mentor: Critique/Experiences and help in deciding

I want to become a 3d character animator and therefore I'm thinking of going to the Animation workshop in Denmark and I would like to hear some critique/experiences from you guys.
I watched some of the demo reels and thought they were okay but not worth four years. Or is it that If I really want to learn I will do better than those?
The Good points of the Animation Workshop would be that it's free and also includes Basics like 2D animation and also modelling and not only 3D Animation.

My alternative would be the Animationmentor which has in contrast much better animations and takes only one year.
The cons for the Animationmenter are the cost and to me it seems to concentrate only on 3D animation...

Please post Critiques and Experiences and give advice!!!
thanks in advance
