There is now a settings rollout where you can set the renderer to V-Ray

It has been updated on Creative Crash

Hello bk3d, I'm using your Ninja Asset now and it's working much better (version 2.1.0). I was able to save out a couple shaders this morning into my shiny new MaterialLibrary folder, and it rendered the icons properly and also attached the mia_materials in my Shading Group to the Maya-native material I was exporting, which is perfect for my workflow.

But after a couple materials, it stops rendering out any images now? I select the shader, then select the proper directory in NinjaAsset, and it's showing my first two shaders there properly. Then I click Export Shaders and it pulls up the "Ninja Render Window" like it should, engages mental ray for a moment, but nothing is rendered. In the folder, I see the .mat file I'm going for, but no "_NinjaIcon" file for this third shader. My paths appear to be correct and the image files supporting the shaders are in the "sourceimages" subfolder there too (per FileTextureManager).

It was working fine a few minutes ago! I'd love to keep using this, perhaps you have an idea what I'm doing wrong now?

Edit (update): In my Script Editor, it's spitting out these warnings:
Quote:
blinn1SG// Warning: Cannot add the following items to the set since the set has restrictions on membership: polyCube1 // // Warning: Cannot add the following items to the set since the set has restrictions on membership: polyCylinder1 //

I have no cylinders or cubes in my scene, so I imagine they're the ones rendering to make the icons?

Hey Infernal,

sorry about such a late reply. Not sure if you are still having this issue. Can you turn on line numbers in error so i can debug this easier?
