Need a pro mac advice here

somebody is selling this to me 1200 €

Two 2.4GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5645 processors
12MB of fully shared L3 cache per processor
Turbo Boost dynamic performance up to 2.67GHz
Hyper-Threading technology for up to 24 virtual cores
Quad-core (standard configuration)
One 3.2GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon W3565 processor
8MB of fully shared L3 cache per processor
Turbo Boost dynamic performance up to 3.46GHz
Hyper-Threading technology for up to 8 virtual cores
Advanced Intel microarchitecture
Integrated memory controller
128-bit SSE4 SIMD engine
64-bit data paths and registers
Optimized for energy efficiency

I'm not the hardware guy so, do you think it's viable to stay with this like one year or little more until apple replace those "new" pros ?

we're all looking for performance but I'm a creative guy and I'm not planning to make a long movie with this machine but some cinema 4D with arnold and compositing in After effects.

Please don't say go PC because of too much trauma with windows...

is this worth it?

Clearly, NO. It's not worth it at all. For this price you could build something decent to start off, and gradually upgrade with some higher-end parts.

That is a copy paste of two very different machines.
If it is the dual E5645 €1200 might be okayish if you want to use it as a renderslave. The dual Xeon has about the renderspeed of a single i7 7700K, which is more expensive to buy but is also 2.5 times faster than the old mac pro for anything single threaded.
The single CPU variation is not worth using as a workstation or rendersystem.
Over all i would not recommend buying it, especially not as a workstation.

Edit: I don't know what kind of trauma Windows got you, but with Cinema 4D the differences between OS X and Windows are marginal, especially if you would get the dual as a renderslave.
Also please note that AfterEffects is not very efficient with multi CPU use so both systems would be dead slow.

Buying a used Mac like that isn't a good use of the money unless you specifically need macOS. Windows is a capable production operating system, as is Linux. In my experience the least production friendly operating system is macOS.

buying NEW mac is waste of money, performance wise. Old one even worse then.
big NO

Need some help with rendering an Redshift project?

The honest answer is that your out of luck. The trash cans simple are not and never really were worth buying, and to consider spending over a grand on a woefully outdated cheesegrater mac tower.

My question is what are you upgrading from for the 6 year old mac to be considered an upgrade?
