Medieval Village Generator

Hello all,

Just thought would pick your brains about something. I am in pre planning for a project and was wondering if there was a plugin or workflow to proceduraly generate medieval villages. The key feature would be the ability to have custom buildings.

I have checked out Ghosttown and Building Generator. At the moment ghost town dosen't support custom buildings. This functionality may be added in the future.

I am not sure if Building generator allows custom buildings as its main purpose is to make procedural buildings I would think not.

Are there any other solutions out there? I have also looked into using pflow to scatter buildings but its not a great solution as its hard to get a good control of the placement of buildings.

Thanks.

I don't think such a plugin exists. something u should consider is using a "kit bashing" approach like old skool prop modellers used, which basically means you make loads of generic parts that u can then use to quickly assemble multiple structures...

Yup looks like thats what I will be doing. Apparent you can do it with Vue and there is a bdget version of it so maybe that will be an option.

@WXYZ Thanks for the link I did come across that but it seems way complex for my needs and is probably too expensive.
