have you looked into using a constraint tag instead? you can animate which object becomes the parent within the tag itself

Howdy,

You may be interested in my CD Constraints plugin which has the CD Space Switch constraint that is specifically designed for this:

To physically move them under them, is not possible.

However, the constraint tag(parent constraint) works. All you do is keyframe the target slot object and you can animate and switch objects.

thanks
but like i said
the parent constraint doesn't work so well..
i don't know why.. maybe such of dipendente loop... but if i go before frame 0, the controller that has the constraint change position...

You need to animate the parent link, not the strength between two parent objects.
Here is an example file: http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=1087807

i tried to parent the link, but when i went at frame -10 ... the object parented shift about 3-4 cm.... but i tried also to deactive "auto reset" in parent constraint and seems work fine now...
i don't understand how....
