A strange error I gen in Maya 2014

Hey everyone,

So this is what I get when trying to center my pivot in Maya 2014...

":/Program Files/Autodesk/Maya2014/scripts/others/findSkinClusterFromSelectedComponent.mel line 32: Selected element is not a skinned mesh vertex. // "

I tried reseting the tool and did not help, also I tried using it on diferent scenes and on objects with no hystory. Can someone help me out pls? Also, when I chose to move, it gives me the sircle on the pivot, as if I am holding X to snap to grid...and I'm not.
