Unhappy Problem related to sound preview in Lightwave 3D 8.3

I tried to make a preview for an animated scene which contains an audio in it. However, an error message would often appear, saying "An invalid direct sound parameter was passed to the returning function". This is kind of messing my scene. Is there anyway to fix this problem, if there is please let me know ASAP.

Thank you

There was a thread over at NewTek-Forums a good while ago - maybe the suggestion there might help you as well:
