Need help: How to make a molded plastic sign??

Hey CGS,

I'm using C4d and pretty new. I need to make a molded plastic sign with letters extruding out for a client. The letters and sign structure are no problem, but I can't figure out how to make the letters coming out from the sign gradually connect and transition into the sign (see ref. image). I don't want the transition to be a drastic edge. They need to blend and I can't figure this out! Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated...

The easiest way would be to use the collision deformer. Just make sure your sign has enough geometry to make the transitions smooth.
Set the deformer to 'inside' and the text or logo as colliders.

I would use a displacement map (material>displacement).
