r14 move objects behavior

in r14 when you want to move objects in non perspective view you have to move with the axis. when you try to move without axis the object jumps to the place you click. in r13 you could move the object without the axis and doesnt jump to the cursor. is there a way to change this back to r13 style?

It looks like you have snapping enabled. Since R14 snapping is cursor centered, much like most other applications. In R13 you moved the axis to the snap target, in R14 you move the cursor to the target. And no, you can't change the behaviour.
