soosoo dissapointed

So ive been using 3ds max for some years now.. and recently decided to upgrade my gfx card since ive been reading these days of the benefits of gpu rendering.. at first i was going for the nvidia gtx 570, but after some reading and hearing how open cl is going to become a standard.. i decided to go for the radeon hd 7850 card which supposably has opencl support.. well what a dissapointment.. first of all i didnt see any difference at all in my viewport speeds.. they are the same on heavy scenes as with my old gfx card.. second of all.. i tried vray RT hoping i would have use of the gpus on the card with .. but nothing.. vray RT of course doesnt support it.. it supports just fine nvidias opencl and cuda.. and iray of course supports cuda.. so basically im stuck with this great gaming card i cant use for any real work.. i tried it also on after effects and some other software.. no real difference there also..
