Polypaint from object to itself?

Hi, Can I project polypaint details from one area of a mesh to another area on the same mesh? I've got a sphere with a pattern randomly painted, I'm wondering if I can save time by creating projecting from the object onto itself?

Thanks.

subtool>duplicate
turn your model with transpose or better yet use tool>preview and rotate then press store,
then in the brush pallet use ZProject

Thanks for the tip, this is what I was looking for. The only problem now is that the subtool duplicate doesn't rotate from the pivot (set to the center of the object).
