Here's is this bust I have been working through (as I follow along a tutorial). The concept is mine, his name is Boogerhead. Just some basic colors on him, nothing fancy yet. Right now I am having issue with his gums, errant verts which are fine in Silo, but go crazy (long spikes) when exported to other apps (other formats). The places I do manage to succesfully export to without spikes don't give me access to the subdivided model - so i'm still trying to work that out. Maybe Silo 3 will have a renderer... if there will be a Silo 3.

Another Silo model - BoofPoww..

Okay, here is my first full body model in Silo - well actually, in anything. (Well I did do a full body model of a Raccoon cartoon character I made up in Ray Dream studio about 900 years ago - but I'm guessing that doesn't count for much now...). Err, anyway, I stiil don't know what the technical term is for "errant vector points" (Hi, Frank), but I didn't have any problems modeling this guy, thing, or whatever it is...

I'm not saying this is a great work of art, or even a great concept - I'm just estatic that i actually, finally made something that resembled a full body. Gotta appreciate the small stuff.

The last model I did (Boogerhead) had some errors, so of course I couldn't get it to render. I'm going to try it with this one (these are Silo Screenshots). Oh, and I'm not throwing in the towel on Boogerhead - part of my goal as a modeller (one day) is to be able to fix stuff as well as create! You never know. Boogerhead is in the shop.
