Bait Demon, Eddie Ellis (3D)

Title: Bait Demon
Name: Eddie Ellis
Country: United Kingdom
Software: 3ds max, BodyPaint

This is a Bait demon, for an animation that i am working on called Twisted City.

The idea behind it came from Finding Nemo and the deep sea fish that used a light on his head to lore his victims closer.

Your comments are more than welcome.

No he is attached, the Demon hides in the shadows and hangs the torso out into the light... the man screams for help and when anybody gets near (to help the man) the Demon pounces.

To me it seems a little strange that the guy is hanging out of the creature's crotch.

Just joking! Looks good, original idea but I feel you could develop it better. right now it just looks like two models combined, what would be cool is if you could find a way to really make them look like one creature. I think this would take alot of work, but if you did it it would look awsome. Think like instead of a perfect human model, have the "person" formed out of loose flesh or a carapice (ala mimic). Heck, just an idea. Good work.

If i got hid of the man, then it would lose allot of its originallity, plus it would no longer be a bait demon, it would just be a plan old monster !

seems like it would make more since to have the guy attatched to the tail, it doesnt look like he could "stick him out" from where it is now.
