[SOLVED] Posemorph help - rotational sphere wrap

Hey guys, hoping someone could offer a hand.

I'm trying to get rotational morphs working to kind of wrap one sphere around another, but I just can't get anything to work. I only have limited access to C4D and I've been bashing my head against the desk for too many hours trying to get this to work. If anyone could please help solve this, Id be super delighted!

Below is a link to a dumbed down project focusing exclusively on the issue. At the moment, the morph is linear and doesn't wrap nicely around the internal sphere.

"wrap a sphere around another"
I'm afraid I can't understand what you mean, so I can try and help you.
Do you have some reference (video or something) that shows the effect?

Cheers

Hey, thanks for your reply.

Ive got a toon character that has large bulging eyes. Sometimes there are no lids, then a lid will appear as a blob at the top / bottom of eye, and wrap down around the eyeball. Linked below is a video demonstrating the issue. I've constrained a white sphere to one of the vertices to make the issue very clear. As you can see the white sphere is moving in a straight line. I need it to be morphing rotationally, so it follows an arc around the eyeball. Video here:https://www.dropbox.com/s/p9qsb6438...tional.mp4?dl=0

I think morphing is not the best way to do this.

Here's a simple solution using a Lathed Arc, a Cloth (for Thickness) and a SDS for rounding it off:

Hey, just wanted to let you know I got it all sorted. (Using bones + corrective PSD instead of just posemorph). Thanks Noseman for your time spent troubleshooting this with me, I appreciate it
