love the towers taavi. And thanx for the link, I managed to come up with an idea. Currently working on it. Btw, love your texturing.. im not good at texturing at all, so I need a lot of training there. waiting for more updates

Thank You for Your kind words .
The surface texturing is quite simplistic yet-just one pattern-plate. I'll try to generate more different ones.
Windows-textures are assembled in photoshop.

Oh.. well. Im still stuck with figuring out how to finish the model, but I dont really think that texturing will be a problem per se, but more like a challenge for me personally. Good luck with your new textures. Whats the next big thing your planning on?

Ummm... i never dare to make to-do list... the amount of work would be too frightening
I'll guess i keep on tinkering the textures, start building environment and of course-i'll have to start modelling the main character

well.. I wont be making any characters, will only be doing a flyby i think, with some changes of lights and stuff.. currently working on how to solve it.. maybe some moving water.. Im thinking of doing the water with some fluid simulations instead.. i think that would be cool, + I have never done it before...

Hi Taavi,

Your scene is looking rather epic! Nice work dude. Might I suggest making the lights in the buildings smaller to give everything a bigger scale?

I love the positioning in this last image it really gives you a wonderful sense of size in this massive chamber!

I am still looking for right viewpoint-angle.
I have to simplify the pillars somehow- the amount of details is too much for rendering.
Maybe the background pillars should be simpler and with less details...

In the first look the color composite is great and I am sure the city in the foreground will be made completer and makes it even look better.

I've got 2 gb ram and that might not be enough for full-scene rendering. So i have some workarounds under "investigation". I'll definitely report how successfully i solved problems.
