vray 3.4 texture distribution for DR?
hi, I've been using vray DR for a while now, and I still didn't set up a dedicated server for storing file assets such as texture maps, so every time I render, it has to send the maps over to all slaves over the network.
turns out that even if I check "use cached assets", it still sends every single map every time I hit render. when working with large files and many maps, it almost beats the purpose of DR. it only kicks in half way through rendering. shouldn't the slave machines cache these maps locally and use them the next time I hit render?
how should I set up a network file server for the textures maps?
