well i really like this update.http://assets.cgsociety.org/challen...9025_medium.jpg

the colors look rich and warm. i am not sure but somehow the white dress makes the other colors look chalky and desaturated. even though i am sure that its not the case. maybe try to really saturate your darks, or something a along those lines. just a suggestion though. maybe i am just going nuts here. i don't know.

Many thanks slav for the crit. I will work on the contrasts when the basic shapes will be all ready, i had to go with white becouse the whole blood thing works way better on a bright background and there's way more blood to come.
Again thanks for the comment!

Final Image: Stigmata

Christina von Stommeln received her stigmata at the young age of five, since then her life turned into an intense mystical experience, the wounds were very painful, a gift from the Lord himself, a reminder of his crucifixion. The wounds reapeared on holy days, and so the painting shows Christina, 20 years old, on Easter - 1262 AD

Thumbs up

Great to see you made it! it's really disturbing as the subject requires, The tear is great detail, it makes the image way stronger!
Overall I like it a lot! good luck!!
