Dual qaternian skinning problem with scale

Hey guys I'm having huge problems with maya skinning using the dual quaternian method. My models are modeled in 45 degree arms not in T pose and when I skin it and try to scale the joints for strechy arms effects wired offset happens and the skin start to offset from the joints. If i skin the character when the joints are not 45 degree rotated but straight drawn looks like works fine. do u know what the problem might be? Thanks .
