CS6 3d paint issue

Painting on a 3d mesh in photoshop is very laggy in CS6 on my computer , altough i have tried painting on a weaker machine on CS5 and it works fine, can someone please tell me what im doing wrong .

Here is the solution
One of my friend found out that you can just paint on a new layer.. just like normal.. and then you just Ctrl-E it.

But at least I get all kinds of weird artifacts and white triangles and stuff when doing the 3d painting projection in PS CS6.
I don't know.. it may be because i've only tested it out on low-poly triangulated models with mirrored overlapping UVs. :/
