Effect like linear wipe - Architectural Animation

Hi,
*
I am trying to achieve something like this (but in 3d) in C4D which in after effects would be "linear wipe", but i have no idea what would be the name of this effect to search how to do it.

Example:*
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_2bAi3p3fA
*
Does anybody know how to create this effect? (seems fairly simple but i have no idea) Or what would be the right term to search?
*
I just need this effects: linear wipe vertically, linear wipe horizontally, linear wipe multiple objects with delay and with a 3 angle.

Thanks!!

You can do that in multiple ways, depending on the exact effect you're after (eg. see the house "build itself") and which element you want to animate (roof, walls etc...)

- An animated boolean (you cut away part of the model)
- An animated alpha texture (you blend away part of the model)
- Animated sweep or extrusion (you grow parts of the model)
- Animated mograph effectors (if you have multiple individual elements forming the object like individual tiles and bricks)
- Some external renderers have render-time booleans and slice planes to do that sort of things
- Some plugins allow to unfold polygons like "origami" to make the model create itself.

Here is a quick example with an alpha and an xpresso setup to easily animate it with nulls.
