this is very cool.. watched your demo and was impressed. I wish I could work with something like this in Maya and be able to companion it into Unity... similar to what Houdini is doing:

I would love a tool like emTopolizer.

Quick question...
The effect of breaking an object into cubes, then reforming a different shape...
(In the video "emTopolizer2 Experiments" by Tim Borgmann)

Is that Shatterizer ?

Can you expand on what is happening ?
I would love to try making something like that in Maya...

Yes, that is the "Shatterizer" of emTopolizer2. The whole process of transforming the mesh into cubes and to make them take other shapes relies extensively on ICE and several of my plugins, so I think it is currently not possible to do something similar with Maya, at least not "out of the box". One would have to create some custom nodes.
Sorry for being so vague, but I simply do not have enough Maya experience.
