Maya tutorial: Retopologise Hard Surfaces



3D Artist has released yet another tips and tricks tutorial on how to accurately retopologise your Hard Surface Models! 3D artist Colton Orr explains his process and goes on to explain his reasoning why MAYA is the weapon of choice when it comes to quickly and efficiently retopologising hard surface models.

I'd hardly call this a tutorial

Step 1: import mesh from Zbrush
Step 2: Retopo using quad draw
Step 3: Clean up

Thats basically as indepth as it goes haha

This is just a magazine. It can only get so in-depth...check YouTube, Lynda, etc. for more detailed tuts
