Spline Axis center issue

A client has sent me a 3dm file that I successfully imported through Rhino.io (plugin).
Each spline represents a placeholder for instaced geometry.

It was supposed to be a simple case of adding the splines to a fracture object,
using PerAnders' CloneInfoHierarchy to match the position/rotation and zeroing out the coordinates of each object.

But apparently the splines are incorrectly oriented and I would have to manually rotate 1000's of objects to fit the desired flow.

Is there a way around this? I've tried Axis center. Even tried turning the square splines into individual pieces of geometry, but nothing seems to get the axis to face to the right way.

Ah, never mind. I figured it out.

Connected all splines. Made into a single loft nurbs.
Used the 'Mesh > Conversion > Polygon Groups to Objects.' (Didn't that used to be Explode segments?) to split it all up again.
Selected all objects, and all edges. Axis center - Alignment X.

Done.

Sorry for wasting space.

The command was split up into 2.
One focuses on splines (explode segments)
the other on polygons (poly groups to objects)

This all just used to be covered by the explode segments command.

Also not a waste of space. Interesting solution
