using a touchpad?

is anyone using or tried using one of the new touchpads instead of a mouse when working in c4d or any of the other 3d apps? my mouse died and i am thinking of getting the new logitech touchpad. I also see a new one by dell. mac has had one out for awhile, but i am now on a pc.

Using touchpad on my Intuos5 and laptop's trackpad sometimes, but it's pretty bad for precision work. At best I only use them to quickly scroll up or down windows if using the pen + MMB is too slow.

Plus AFAIK C4D doesn't recognize left-right scrolling, so it's even less useful in that regard.
Do what you want to do, not what you think you want to do.
