Talking

I haven't heard of the movie, but she's adorable. You did a great job with her cheeks and chin (great face shape and bone structure). Great job rendering the ear (especially all of the shape and form to it), and I love how you layered the hair in it's pony tail like that. Her part (in her hair) is a tad deep (kind of affects the shape of the contours on the top of her hair/head), but I still like it in general). Her eyes are really well done (great expression, awesome shadowing and highlights, and great shape and attention to detail). I also like the top, buttoned strap of her outfit on her left shoulder. If I were to nit pick, I'd say that the neck was a little "blah" but its not too bad. Great rendering and brushwork all around (and her skin tones are really good). Do you get the feeling that I really like this piece? This turned out awesome, so keep it in your portfolio. Keep it up. Great job!

I agree with linainverse23 - espacially when when she wrote about hair. I can imagine how hard is to paint them to look good. I like this work.

Pretty much everything feels right in this picture, you've managed to capture a sense of personality and character as well as nice technical work.

Very nice portrait.
Since linainverse23 hasalready told the major facts :] , I'd just say that I really like how you caught her face in matter of shape, skin texture, her "color-gradiented" ear, her storyteller eyes and overall facial expression. The lighting is pro, and pretty wise color choice on the background. Gr8 wrk.
Keep it up!

Wow amazing work! I really like the values of the background just around her face contour, it really makes her face pop out! I assume you used some sort of photo ref, and you made this look so much more alive than a photo!

The model herself is lovely, and you did a great job with this painting. The contour of her face is so well defined but soft, and what a lovely nose you did!
