Randomise individual vertices of a plane in C4D - http://www.quirk.biz/

Hey guys.
I created this animation you see here in After Effects.

http://www.quirk.biz/include/Banner_v5_update.swf

Now I'd like to re-create this in C4D. Any tips an how to tackle this?
Ideally, the final shape & structure should reflect that of an illustrator file.

i.e. the random shapes generatively animating & coming to a stop in a specific structure provided to me in an illustrator file,
i.e. ideally the C4D file would use the Ai.

Thanks in advance !
