Funny thing is none of us had ever played Fallout. We only saw screenshots of the Fallout diner after someone made the connection between the two. The actual inspiration was the old retro images of diners with James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis and others, we wanted to give an original spin on this because diners are just so iconic. Even the camera placement was made so it pays respect those old pictures, that we see the inspiration right away.
