Concept Sketch or 3D pre-visualization: Axis city, 3d pre-vis

I spent a little over a week designing my first idea for a 3D scene for the axis city. This is it... At least, this is what you ought to see in the first 4 seconds. :) Done in blender.

Description: I haven't read the part of Eon with Axis city yet, but from what I know, whenever I think of the city, I imagine a city like LA, several hundred years into the future.
The idea for this is that Axis City amplifies the intensity and purpose of the asteroid, so I wanted to see a couple of different buildings (the layered looking one on the top right), a futuristic clock (left), and a city lane filled with cars (or hover vehicles, unless that's blasphemous to the book). Sorry, it's not a great description, I just woke up. I'm tired. :P

Hey. Love your scene.. good to see another blender head in this competition. Currently checking out all the blender head's scenes and work, and trying to give some comments and stuff. Check out mine if you have the time. Oh, btw, have you had the time to read about axis city? Do you need some reading material for it or do you allready have the book?
