Color settings bug

R14.028, Mac OS X 10.8.2

I dont find any place to report bugs at Maxon' site so I will do it here in hopes that a Maxon guy sees this.

Report:
When in Preferences > Color
If you select reference as palette, and back to RGB the color is just reset as black, impossible to find it original color again. It also seems that after this the default palette is also reference, so then color customization becomes very frutstrating.

Current solution if you should mess up color settings is to delete the *.col file in the current preference folder of Cinema and colors is set to default again.

I'm sorry I don't follow you.
You mean Preferences -> Units -> Color chooser? Can't find 'palette' anywhere..

He meant Preferences->Scheme Colors->Interface Colors. There's a dropdown menu above the color picker which is RGB by default, another option is 'Reference'. Never used this, so no idea what it does.

Seems to be an OSX version bug only, I couldn't reproduce it with Windows.

Also, you can report bugs by using the support question form here: http://www.maxon.net/en/support/support-questions.html

Yes, spedler interpreted me correctly, sorry for being unclear here.

Reference means that instead of finding all the colors you want to work with via rgb codes / sliders or another type of color picker, you can use the colors already used as palette for picking colors.

It has done that for many versions.

What I do is { using the enhanced colour table etc } is find the same colour you want in the rest of the list, put that in the colour table, then when you get black again you have a backup.

Interestingly enough, some of the colors actually don't revert to black in the list, and some do.....no idea why.
